INTRODUCTION
Approve the appointment of Samantha Aman as the Economic Development Coordinator and Jason Witt as a Police Officer. Also, approve the appointment of Leah Dreher and Lauren Fleming as seasonal Recreation Assistants.

DISCUSSION

Stephanie Aman has been selected to be the new Economic Development Coordinator. Stephanie has worked in a similar role for the City of Faribault since June of 2021. She has a strong community relations background which is vital to this role. Stephanie will begin on April 10th.

Jason Witt has been selected to serve as the city's newest Police Officer. Jason has been working for Rice County since 2011 in several roles, including Patrol Deputy, Investigator, SWAT team member, and Narcotics Investigator. His previous experience will allow him to transition to this role quickly. Jason will begin on March 27th.

Both Leah Dreher and Lauren Fleming will begin employment on April 1st.

BUDGET IMPACT
Wages are included in the 2023 budget.
