| | | | | | | | INTRODUCTION The Dakota County Drug Task Force (DCDTF) is in the process of renewing the Joint Powers Agreement (JPA) with the City of Farmington for the Pharmaceutical Drug Disposal program. |

| | | | | | | | DISCUSSION
On June 4, 2012, the City of Farmington entered into a JPA with the DCDTF to provide a location for residents to drop off unused or unwanted pharmaceuticals for disposal. Under the JPA , a secure receptacle was placed in the lobby of the police department. All items that are collected are weighed, stored and then destroyed by the DCDTF.
The new JPA would run through December 31, 2026. |
